15 STANDARDS OF CARE

Each of the 15 Standards have their own dedicated article published in Pediatric Blood & Cancer, and there is one overview article describing the methodologies used to develop the standards.

It is recommended that these standards be followed at all sites where children with cancer are treated.  Full implementation will occur at variable rates in different centers, with some already in compliance and others needing changes to meet acceptable levels. Pediatric cancer programs can utilize these standards to identify their program strengths and areas where improvements and/or resources are most needed.
